Problem: The interior architecture scope of work for a 3,000 square foot condominium renovation in the North Beach Village neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale Beach presented challenges due to the building's octagonal shape and the unit's half-footprint occupancy. This resulted in an awkward layout with poorly angled walls, bulky soffits for mechanical designs, and cramped living spaces.
Solution: Recognizing these challenges during our initial site visit, our firm's primary focus was to address the inefficient floor plan. We aimed to eliminate dead space and create unobstructed interior views, fostering a sense of spaciousness. To achieve this, we strategically streamlined the bulky ceiling, optimizing the layout for a more open and functional design. The interior design process seamlessly followed, incorporating our client's preferences, values, and lifestyle. The result is a transformed space that is unburdened, airy, and clean, overcoming the initial challenges and providing a comfortable living environment.
